The Chemical Daily (Kagaku Kogyo Nippo), Japan’s leading newspaper covering the chemical and allied industries, is launching an English-language website today. The company aims to provide global readers with information so far not accessible to non-Japanese speakers.

The news site is online at https://www.japanchemicaldaily.com.

“Japan’s chemical industry is the third largest in the world. Yet we often hear from international business people that they lack information. We are launching our new website to answer this need. Our goal is to make it easier for companies from around the world to do business in Japan, with Japanese companies, or both,” said Osamu Odajima, president of The Chemical Daily Co. Ltd.

The Chemical Daily is publishing its English news service by partnering with Japan Industry News, a service dedicated to supporting Japanese industry newspapers going global. “Following our partnership with Japan Rubber Weekly, the only news site dedicated to Japan’s rubber and tire sectors, we are now excited to work with The Chemical Daily,” said Ulf Dressler, CEO of Japan Industry News’ operator, Bonuterra Inc.

The Chemical Daily is Japan’s premier newspaper covering the chemical industry. Published since 1936 and now in its 80th year, the Japanese-language print edition reaches over 100,000 readers every day.
